These are the cards that make the deck work! Cinccino (Sword and Shield) is a great engine to draw cards and this deck needs to draw cards all of the time! If you are struggling with cards to discard, remember that you don’t need cards like Mew (Sun and Moon Promo) or Wobbuffet (Lost Thunder) all of the time! Zacian V (Sword and Shield) is typically an attacking Pokémon that is paired with Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX (Cosmic Eclipse), but we are using it in this deck for its Intrepid Sword Ability! Since this deck usually doesn’t attack, unless you are using Resource Managment on Oranguru (Ultra Prism), you can easily pas your turn by drawing three cards! This gives you a great consistency boost that will allow your deck to setup well when you play it! Since Zacian V (Sword and Shield) is such an expensive card online, make sure to have your online Pokemon TCGO account stocked up with many code cards so that you can trade for them to play this deck! The last time I checked they were going for about 30 Sword and Shield packs for each Regular Art version!

These are the cards that allow you to get your cards back! Oranguru (Ultra Prism) is no stranger to control decks and its role here isn’t any different! You want to whittle your deck down to zero, use Bellelba & Brycen-Man (Cosmic Eclipse) so you don’t have to discard cards, and use Resource Management to avoid decking out! Sometimes you won’t have access to Oranguru (Ultra Prism), in that case it is best to have Lillie’s Poke Doll (Cosmic Eclipse) in the Active Spot instead! Lillie’s Poke Doll (Cosmic Eclipse) prevents your opponent from taking a Prize Card when it gets Knocked Out, and it can also put itself at bottom of the deck to avoid deck out! In some cases, you will want to put two copies of Lillie’s Poke Doll (Cosmic Eclipse) to prevent your opponent from successfully using Phione (Cosmic Eclipse). Pal Pad (Ultra Prism) allows you to recycle your copies of Lt. Surge’s Strategy (Hidden Fates) and Bellelba & Brycen-Man (Cosmic Eclipse) back into your deck to use over and over again! Similarly enough, Ordinary Rod (Sword and Shield) has a similar function to Pal Pad (Sword and Shield). As you can see, there are many great code cards available for the online Pokemon Trading Card Game. All of these cards in this category function together to get back resources and “loop” cards over and over again!

Mewtwo & Mew-GX (Sun and Moon Promos SM191) allows this deck to copy the GX attack of Magcargo-GX (Lost Thunder) to help discard the top five cards of your opponents deck. If you use this in combination with Lt. Surge’s Strategy (Unbroken Bonds) and Bellelba & Brycen-Man (Cosmic Eclipse) to mill the top eleven cards of your opponents deck! A key tip is to make sure your opponent has eleven or less cards in deck and this move will surely deck them out! Aerodactyl-GX (Unified Minds) allows you to OHKO a Mewtwo & Mew-GX (Unified Minds) that just copied Stinger GX on Naganadel-GX (Sun and Moon Promo). The math works out to three times 50 (because three Energy are needed to use Stinger GX) times two because of Weakness. That way they won’t be able to use Blacephalon (Cosmic Eclipse) to spread damage around the following turn, they will have instantly lost! In my testing on Pokemon TCGO, the described situations above have occurred many times!

Wobbuffet (Lost Thunder) is a card that is played to stop Prism Star cards, but more specially it is played to stop Victini Prism Star (Dragon Majesty). The most popular deck to play Victini Prism Star is Ability Reshiram & Charizard-GX (Sun and Moon Promo) and Stealthy Hood (Unbroken Bonds) stop their Ninetales (Team Up) from bringing it up! If you aren’t expecting many decks to run Victini Prism Str (Dragon Majesty) and Ninetales (Team Up), you can likely cut both Wobbuffet (Lost Thunder) and Stealthy Hood (Unbroken Bonds) for more consistency cards. Mew (Sun and Moon Promo) is a great to keep your Benched Pokemon protected from sniping attacks. Popular attackers include Naganadel-GX (Unified Minds), Pikachu & Zekrom-GX (Sun and Moon Promo), and Cramorant-V (Sword and Shield). Similar to the above cards, if you don’t think many Bench snipers are going to played in your next Pokemon TCG game, consider cutting Mew (Unbroken Bonds) for another consistency code card.

As I already explained in the section that discusses Pal Pad (Sword and Shield), both Bellelba & Brycen-Man (Cosmic Eclipse) and Lt. Surge’s Strategy (Hidden Fates) allow this deck to complete a win condition. If you are new to the online Pokemon Trading Card Game, there are only a few ways to win a game online. You can win the game by drawing all six of your Prize Cards, leaving your opponent with no other Pokémon in play, or by decking out your opponent! Bellelba & Brycen-Man (Cosmic Eclipse) works hand-in-hand with Lt. Surge’s Strategy (Unbroken Bonds) to make sure that your opponent is losing three to six cards per turn! Over time, this definitely adds up, especially when you can get back those Supporters to use again with Pal Pad (Ultra Prism). A key strategy to implement is to deck yourself out first, discard cards with Bellelba & Brycen-Man (Cosmic Eclipse), and then use Resource Management on Oranguru (Ultra Prism) to avoid yourself decking out. That way only your opponent is discarding precious resources all while you continuously put back important Pokemon code cards into your deck!

Energy Denial! ENERGY DENIAL! I can’t begin to tell you how many games I have rage quit on Pokemon TCG Online because my opponent hit a bunch of heads on Crushing Hammer (Sun and Moon). Crushing Hammer (Generations) allows you to discard your opponents Energy at the cost of a coin flip! It is a typically efficient card, especially when it is paired with Oranguru (Ultra Prism) to get it back over and over again! Faba (Lost Thunder) is more versatile than Crushing Hammer (Sword and Shield), but it comes at the cost of being a Supporter card. You can Lost Zone a Special Energy, Pokémon Tool, or Stadium, but you can’t do too much else! This card is great to use against Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX (Cosmic Eclipse) because they will usually have a Special Energy, like Rainbow Energy (Celestial Storm), attached.
